Kanazawa Castle in the Winter

The castle was originally built in 1583 by Sakuma Morimasa when the Maeda family moved into Kanazawa to establish the Kaga Domain. It has been destroyed and reconstructed several times. Dragon at a Shrine Near Kanazawa Station
Shrines will often have a stone fountain or basin filled with water where visitors are asked to purify themselves before entering.
